Point of sale

POS software for shops and supermarkets in Ghana

Onassify POS is a point of sale system that runs in a web browser. Cashiers scan or search, take cash, MoMo or card, and every sale updates your stock and reports in cedis the moment it is made.

What a good POS should fix

  • Queues while MoMo confirms

Record each mobile money payment on the sale with its reference, so it can be matched later without holding up the queue.

  • Payments that never add up

Every payment is saved against its method, so the end-of-day totals match the drawer, the MoMo wallet and the card statement.

  • No record of who sold what

Every sale carries the cashier's name, the time, the items and the profit made on it.

FAQ

POS software: questions and answers

Can customers pay with mobile money?

Yes. Add mobile money as a payment method, for example MTN MoMo or Telecel Cash, and cashiers record it on the sale with its reference. Onassify does not collect the payment itself; it records how each sale was paid so your totals match.

Does Onassify work in cedis?

Yes. When you sign up you choose Ghana and the cedi, and prices, sales, receipts and reports all show GH₵.

Do I need special hardware?

No. Onassify POS runs in a web browser on a laptop, desktop or tablet. A barcode scanner is optional: cashiers can also find products by typing the name.

How do I know if a cashier is short at the end of the day?

Each cashier closes their register with a cash count. A manager sees the count beside that register's sales by payment method, records any shortage or overage, and approves the close.

How much does Onassify POS cost?

Onassify is free to try. Create an account with your business name and email and start selling. No card is required.
